Natural Beaded Row Extensions | How To Properly Care For Your NBR Extensions

Washing extensions may seem tedious or really difficult… but once you get into the swing of things, I promise it gets easier! Just like anything you practice at. Right?

On today’s post, to ring in the new year, I’m going to be sharing some tips on how to wash and care for your extensions without the extra added stress. (You’re welcome!)

First of all,

-it’s important to brush your hair. Get rid of all of those knots… might be painful if you have extremely naughty hair, but just hold the extensions, and take your time. This is important to do before getting them wet.

-Secondly, separate your extensions by rows. Start with the bottom row, and work your way up to the top of your head.

-Focus your shampoo at the scalp and work your way down. But before adding more shampoo, add water to work through the ends! Won’t make it all clumpy. Do this twice for the best results.

When you’re conditioning, make sure to:

-Ring out the excess water before applying conditioner.

-Start at the ends (Opposite of shampooing) and work your way up to the root.

-To make your life easier, purchase a wide tooth comb! Again, taking it and starting at the bottom, working your way to the top.

-Be sure to rinse out thoroughly, or you’ll find that they could be a little greasy. Rinse in sections, starting with the bottom row, then work your way up!

This may seem like a lot, and it is to take care of your NBR extensions, but you don’t have to do this that often, and it’ll be worth it to have gorgeous, full hair.
