As your trusty hair stylist, whether you’re coming to me for a fresh cut, a new color, or a bump up on your NBR extensions, I want to make sure you’re going to get the most bang for your buck!

Even if you cannot make it to me, you can look up reviews on any of these apps - Mind Body, Style Seat, Instagram or Google. They’ll tell ya how these stylists really are, and what their specialty is!

Hair truly is an art, and a science at the same time! Especially if we’re working with color. It needs to be executed beautifully in order for you to feel beautiful. I get that, and so do most artists!

One red flag to watch out for… is if your hair colorist tells you that they can take you from being a brunette to a blonde in one session. All I have to say is…. RUN!!!

Have photos available, because we are all visual! Booking a consultation may seem tedious, but I believe it’s important for us to know what exactly you’re looking for. I’m always asking what my client’s love about their hair, just so I don’t mess with that aspect too much. I want you happy, afterall!

So the main point of today’s post is to tell you that it’s OK to ask questions, and if your hair stylist asks you questions, answer honestly. We can’t read your mind!

Happy 2020 beauties.

XO, Cort.
